Making a purchase

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' within the shopping cart and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, email mail or over the Internet. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order, it does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Vouchers and coupons can only be used on products that are at full price and not involved in any special offers.

Shipping & Handling

Delivery of all our Wheelchairs and Wheelchair Accessories is FREE to the UK Mainland. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you wish your product to be delivered elsewhere.

At World of Wheelchairs.co.uk our delivery service ensures trained staff deliver your product. Orders will be dispatched from the manufacturer either the same or the next working day, to regional distribution centres. We aim to complete delivery within 5 working days. You will receive a phone call to make sure that you are around when the delivery is to be made and we will keep in contact with you throughout the whole process.

Returns
Your purchase transaction is complete after the product handover, during which you are asked to carefully inspect the product, to confirm it is what you ordered, has no damage and is operating successfully. Please inspect the product very carefully and if you feel there are any problems, be sure to raise this with the delivery staff who will make a note of your concerns and take the appropriate action.
Should you decide to reject a product that is deemed by our engineers to be in perfect condition and to match your order, we will ask that you pay for the return transportion. Rejection of faulty goods will be refunded in full. Following they sign-off, your product is fully covered under warranty and repairs will be carried out at your home where possible. In the unlikely event of a major fault, the product will be collected, repaired or replaced and then returned. All this is at no additional cost to you.

VAT and VAT Exemption

If you are not VAT exempt then you will pay 17.5% Value Added Tax on all our products.
If you are VAT exempt then during the process of selecting a Wheelchair you will be asked to notfiy us of this by ticking a box, which means you agree to the following: -
I declare that I am chronically sick or disabled and that I am receiving from "WorldofWheelchairs.co.uk "All Handling" (Movability) Ltd.
(a) The goods mentioned below, which are supplied to me for domestic or my personal use.
(b) Services of adapting, as described below, the goods mentioned to suit my condition.
(c) Services of repair or maintenance of the goods mentioned below.
The goods/services/repairs are detailed on the proforma invoice. I claim that the supply of these goods or services eligible for relief from Value Added Tax under group 14 of (the Zero Rated) Schedule 5, Section 16 to the Value Added Tax 1983

Self-Propel Wheelchairs are those that the occupant can manouevre themselves. Clicking here will display all our Self-Propel Wheelchairs.

Transit Wheelchairs are those without the large rear wheels which means occupants will have to be attended to when moving around. This section will display all our Transit Wheelchairs

Lightweight Wheelchairs are much better for folding and carrying around, such as moving into the boot of a car and back out again.

Entry Level Wheelchairs are our most cheap Wheelchairs. However this doesn't mean they are any less of quality, we often have great Wheelchairs on offer in this section.
